Sometimes Good Things Fall Apart So Better Things Can Fall Together.

Rejection. Failure. Loss. Flaws.

All words that immediately create a feeling of fear in many people.

Most people tend to strive for perfection, even when we know that nobody is perfect. We often collapse as soon as we fail, or sometimes we won’t try at all for fear of future failure. We stray away from taking risks and trying new things because we are so fearful of not being good enough. We want to save ourselves from the embarrassment of people knowing our failures or the feeling of worthlessness that seems to overtake us.

When we stop taking risks and trying new things, we miss out on the greater things in life. Yes, it is hard to fail. It is hard to face rejection. It is hard to feel like you aren’t good enough. But, wouldn’t you rather fail then miss out on amazing opportunities just because you were scared of failure?

If you didn’t take a risk somewhere along the way, would you have the friends you have now? Would you have made it through high school? Would you have gotten a college degree? Would you have the job you have now? Would you have dated the person you are now married to? Would you have made lifelong memories?

Usually, good things never come easy. You might hit some bumps in the road and fall down a few times before you finally reach your destination. You might even reach your destination only to realize that you need to go to a completely different destination. Once you do finally reach your final destination, all of the bumps and falls that happened along the way are completely worth it.

It is important to remember that everything happens for a reason. There is always something to learn whether it is a failure or success. We have to remember to trust God because he has a plan for us even when we can’t see it.

We can’t always see where the road leads, but God promises there’s something better up ahead and we just have to trust Him.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

Forget about:

  • failure
  • rejection
  • loss
  • flaws.

Focus on:

  • new experiences
  • new people
  • new opportunities
  • more happiness.

God has equipped you with the right tools and He has made you who you are for a reason. Every single thing he puts you through has a purpose. You have to learn from everything and use it to grow into the person God plans for you to be.

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” Christian D. Larson

You are good enough. You are smart enough. You are strong enough. You are fully prepared to take risks because you have God on your side ready to lead you through anything and everything.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. You might not believe that when you are in the midst of a personal storm, but I promise that it is true. Good things are always right around the corner even if you don’t think so. Take heart and trust God because good things are coming your way as long as you are patient and place your trust in God.
